My name is Jania I am the Owner/Photographer for Celestial Photography. I am the proud wife to one amazing man who lucky for me, doubles as my assistant during some of my sessions. Between us, we share five amazing children.  Celestial Photography is named after one of my children Melody Celestial that sadly passed away in 2006 at the tender age of four months. This site in a way is a tribute to her short life. I want to capture every special moment with each click of my camera.  Melody is the reason why I do what I do today...which is to capture moments in time and freeze them forever.

 

Celestial Photography was born in May 2008. It was only after the loss of Melody that I took photography seriously. I wanted to capture every moment knowing firsthand how short life can be. I invested so much time, money, and energy in learning my craft. I live and breathe photography & absolutely love my job. From meeting new families to documenting births and weddings I do it all and love every moment of it.

 

As a mom, I know how important it is to capture "the special moments" & every single milestone for you and your family. My sessions are pretty relaxed and laid back. I LOVE children.. they are my favorite to photograph because the kid in me is very much so still alive & can relate to them with their wild imagination and creativity. I bring a new spin to sessions that most photographers in my area do not with an extra magical touch. I encourage my clients to let their imaginations run wild. My Goal as a photographer is to make you feel good about yourself & your images.  Most of all I want your images to be worthy of printing & dressing up your walls. It feels amazing when I visit clients' homes and see my artwork on their walls. In my opinion, photos are a home's clothes & they are a reminder of the love within them.
